The Frankston Public Surgical Centre is a three-level purpose-built facility, constructed above a basement level car park. The original ‘North Building’ opened in 2006, with the ‘South Building’ subsequently opening in 2017 as the Healthscope operated Frankston Private Hospital. The hospital component of the building has now been repurposed as a public hospital, with Peninsula Health, a Victorian Government department as the major tenant. There are 10 fully let specialist suites in the North Building, including tenants Peninsula Health, Genesis Care, Slade Pharmacy and I-Med.

The surgical centre is located in Frankston, 40kms south of the Melbourne Central Business District. Notable nearby infrastructure, includes Frankston Public Hospital (400m north-west), Monash University Peninsula Campus (150 metres east), George Pentland Botanic Gardens (100 metres north-west) and the Frankston Power Centre (600 metres north), which provides significant retail amenities. The area is well serviced by public transit, with Leawarra Railway Station 600 metres north-east, whilst bus services operate along nearby Frankston – Flinders Road, Hastings Road and Foot Street.
